Shaley and I had our first baby-doctor appointment. I am relieved to hear that a vegetarian diet can indeed be healthy for a child, and I’m looking forward to cooking up some nutrition filled meals for my love. We are due to visit a nutritionist. And I’m definitely going to take her to a naturalist/homeopathologist
The baby’s due date is set for March 11th, 2011. I’m hoping we are about 6 days off. Oh lord, give me a St. Patricks baby.
Seven months of my girlfriend pregnant, and I can’t wait. This will truly be life’s greatest adventure.
I hope to remain mindful. and our child be blessed.

As the average twenty year old American citizen, there’s really not a lot you should be expected to know. Your basic scholastics and general human nature immediately come to mind. At this point, you should know clearly what is right, and more importantly, what is perceptibly wrong. Now, even though the standard non-mentally ill being may choose to act upon one or the other, there is one thing he or she should always hold in mind; and that is precisely that they don’t know everything.
The statement seams simple enough. Yet most seem to have trouble grasping the core meaning behind it. Plainly put, there is always more to learn. Therein lays my beef. How can one be expected to rest stagnant with that luring over head? How, pray tell, can anyone not seek in wonderment?
Understandably, many people are satisfied with unanswered questions. After all, ignorance is bliss.
Begin the quest for enlightenment.

One of the finer Oat meal stouts I’ve had. All flavor nodes well balanced, and an extremely drinkable mix. Bought a bottle of this the very next day to add to my collection. Ninkasi is one of those breweries to keep your eye on. Have some GREAT beers out right now.

I had the opportunity to sit down and drink this exceptional brew with one of the Pelican’s brewers. As a deschutes loyalist from Bend, Oregon, I had lowered expectations going in from the beginning (abyss or bust). When the gentleman first explained the process of brewing The Perfect storm, I was very intrigued. I wanted to see the color first, though. It was absolutely beautiful. Even more so then The Abyss. This elegant, yet slightly scary beer poured beautifully. Right out of the bottle, Chilled to perfection, I will admit to anyone that the beer was one of the best tasting brews I have ever had. But as time passed, mind you this beer is to be drunken slowly, it began to warm up slightly. and as it happened, i could definitely taste the strong alcohol nodes. This was, other than the price, the beers only turn off. Given time, I know this beer will mature into something amazing. but for now, it is only exceptional.

"La Fleur
French for ‘The Flower’, La Fleur is the first beer in the history of Deschutes Brewery brewed without any hops at all! The flavor and bitterness were acquired from myrtle leaf, yarrow, wormwood, juniper berry, and hibiscus flower as well as ginger and orange blossoms. The malt sources were also diverse: barley malt, wheat, and spelt were used to create a complex backbone to support the unique flavors and aromas
